Magic Gel C by AdorageMD

Vitamin C -is one of the relatively few topical agents whose effectiveness against wrinkles and fine lines is backed by a fair amount of reliable scientific evidence. Unfortunately, the practical use of Vitamin C in skin care presents some difficulties due to its lack of stability. When exposed to air, Vitamin C undergoes oxidation and becomes less effective or even potentially harmful ( oxidized Vitamin C ca increase the formation of free radicals).

Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) is a water soluble derivative of Vitamin C, rapidly gaining popularity in skin care. It is non irritating and more stable form of Vitamin C. Most importantly it appears to have the same potential as Vitamin C to boost skin collagen synthesis but is effective in significantly lower concentrations. We have a very high concentration of MAP ( Vitamin C), but it is patented. (According to FDA regulations -the ingredients on the box are placed in subsidized order, and MAP in our formula is the 3 ingredients after water)

MAP appears to be a better choice for people with sensitive skin and doesn't have any exfoliating effect as most Vitamin C formulas. MAP has superior percutaneous absorption and stability, excellent non-irritating skin whitening effect, that inhibits skin cells to produce melanin, lightens age spots, protects skin from oxidation, including UV rays, has anti-inflammatory and soothing effects, promotes collagen synthesis, inhibits lipid-peroxidation. MAP doesn't degrade in formulas containing water.

It suppresses melanin formation by tyrosinase and melanoma cells. These results suggest that MAP delays progression of skin damage induced by UVB irradiation. MAP exhibits such inhibitory effects by scavenging hydroxyl and lipid radicals generated as a direct or indirect result of UVB exposure due to a conversion to AS ( Ascorbic acid) Studies are made by Kyoritsu College of Pharmacy, Tokyo, Japan and University of Padova, Italy( Department of Pharmacetical Science)

But aging is a more complicated process than just the loss or need of Vitamin C-so in our formulation we have fatty and amino acids and Vitamin E as Tocopheryl Acetate and Urea.

Lack of natural urea ( which is a lactic acid) ,playing a vital role in maintaining the skin's moisture balance and the suppleness of the skin induces psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis and dry skin. In dry skin -urea concentration is diminished by 50%. In skin with eczema-urea is reduced by 85%.

AdorageMD recommends using Gel C in the Evening regimen, followed by our Magic Retinol Cream, containing Glycolic Acid, which improves the skin's texture and tone, diffuses the appearance of fine lines, and can fight the acne.

We always remind our clients to use sunscreen during the day. Try our Magic products, because you have nothing to loose than wrinkles, age spots, damaged cells and dull, stressed skin.
With ADORAGE you are getting the skin YOU WILL ADORE.

Why Magnesiun is Important to Your Health

Michael Rupkalvis

When it comes to every organ in the body (especially the muscles, heart, and kidneys), magnesium is a mineral that provides never-ending benefits. Numerous advantages come when one maintains daily-recommended amounts, which are either achieved through diet or supplementation.

Without magnesium, enzymes stay inactive; the production of energy is hindered; and the regulation of calcium, potassium, copper, and many other nutrients in the body are affected.

Today, the majority of people living in the United States are not receiving enough magnesium through their diet, as the mineral is especially found in whole unprocessed foods. However, to greatly boost magnesium in the body by choosing specific dietary sources, one should consider adding whole grains, wheat bran, almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, and green leafy vegetables to their meals.

Additional foods that contain magnesium include baked potatoes (with skin), oatmeal, bananas, spinach, peanuts, and even chocolate. When cooking meals, an assortment of spices and herbs also supply magnesium, including sage, cocoa powder, tarragon, poppy seed, coriander, basil, and dill weed.

When looking for a magnesium supplement to accommodate a diet, the local pharmacy or grocery store provides many different forms, including magnesium citrate, magnesium gluconate, and magnesium lactate. It is suggested to choose options that include a time-release formula, which elevates the overall absorption of the mineral. Other sources of magnesium are additionally found in laxatives and antacids (magnesium hydroxide), and bath tonics (magnesium sulfate) that are absorbed through the skin.

Benefits of Taking Magnesium

Once a suitable approach towards increasing magnesium levels is found, the treatment and prevention of a wide range of conditions and medical concerns begin. Maintaining healthy amounts of magnesium in the body may lead to beneficial effects regarding the following ailments:

* Asthma and Emphysema: A study regarding more than 2,500 children (ages 11 to 19) revealed that a low dietary magnesium intake might translate into a higher risk of developing asthma. The same results appeared in a study of more than 2,600 adults between the ages of 18 and 70.

* Diabetes: Low levels of magnesium in the blood have been linked to type-2 diabetes. Some patients have shown an improvement in the action of insulin and enjoyed decreased blood sugar levels when taking magnesium supplements, where results were especially noticeable among the elderly.

* Attention Deficit (and Hyperactivity) Disorder: Children with ADD/ADHD who have received magnesium supplements have shown improvement in their behavior. One study revealed that 95% of the children suffering from ADHD were magnesium deficient. Nowadays, it is common to see doctors recommend magnesium supplementation, or a significant increase of magnesium in the diet.

* Fibromyalgia: A reduction in pain and tenderness associated with fibromyalgia has taken place in patients who have taken medication containing both magnesium and malic acid. The overall results have varied depending on the individual.

* Heart Disease: There is no doubt that magnesium plays an important role regarding the health of the heart. Taking the mineral helps maintain a normal heart rhythm and is a popular treatment suggestion for patients who possess an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia).

* Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS): Scientific proof suggests that taking magnesium supplements works wonders on providing relief for women suffering the symptoms linked to PMS, such as bloating, swollen legs, weight gain, and tender breasts.

Additionally, magnesium has been linked to lowering high blood pressure, boosting energy in HIV patients, preventing flare-ups of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), lowering the risk of miscarriage in women, preventing bone loss in women undergoing menopause, treating migraine headaches, combating osteoporosis, lowering the risk of stroke, and treating the insomnia associated with restless leg syndrome.

So the benefits of including a sufficient amount of magnesium in one's diet - through either the foods eaten or via supplements - are both abundant and easy to achieve.

Why Choose a Liquid Vitamin?By: Nutricap Labs Editorial Team

What are Liquid Vitamins?
Vitamins taken in any drinkable form are liquid vitamins.

Why Produce Vitamins Liquid?
Physician's Desk Reference (a highly respected medical guide for doctors) states that absorption of liquid vitamins amount to about 98% within 15 to 30 minutes! According to this research, liquid vitamins can be up to 10 times more effective than nutritional supplements in pill form. Liquid vitamins provide the highest possible assimilation of nutrients into the body. This is because, in liquid form, colloidal minerals and vitamin particles are over 7000 times smaller than a human cell.
Liquid vitamins are seen as an alternative for people who find taking pills disagreeable for any reason like taste, or difficulty in swallowing or digesting. This is true especially in the case of older people and children, for whom liquid vitamins are available in a variety of flavors.
Liquid Vitamins are growing in popularity as more people discover them. As consumers are changing the way they want to take their nutritional supplements more and more liquid vitamin products are hitting the health market.
Versatility of Liquid Vitamins
Not only are Liquid vitamins easier to assimilate in the body, but they are gaining popularity over vitamin pills because they are much more versatile. Liquid vitamins can be taken plain or added to your favorite drink. You can certain vitamins to your meals or fortify your home-baked cakes!

In fact, fortifying beverages with vitamins has boosted the sales of juice makers all over America. These liquid assets added to their brand of juices have increased profits for these companies as more and more consumers are looking for healthy, 100% juice products, drinks fortified with extra vitamins and minerals, or interesting new flavor combinations such as carrot, strawberry and kiwi to add variety to life while meeting their nutrient needs. Not just juices but milk, or any drinkable beverage including cocktails are being fortified by liquid vitamins!

Even liquid soap manufacturers are cashing in on liquid vitamin popularity by introducing Vitamin E into their brands of shower gels and liquid hand soaps.

So what else is new? Try the new line of liquid vitamins in a spray from leading liquid vitamin manufacturers!

On the Business Side
The functional food fad is becoming a profitable business. Companies like Tropicana, Welch and Minute Maid have boosted their sales by fortifying most of their products with vitamins and minerals. Many of these products are targeting children. According to the Nutrition Business Journal, "Consumers weary of popping pills are increasingly turning to liquid supplements, fuelling growth in a still small but viable market niche."

American consumers are more aware now than ever that a good multivitamin is the foundation of health and nutrition. Liquid vitamins have a future in shaping the health of America.
